Hello, I’m Belinda,

I’m a HCPC registered Music Therapist and singer based in Neath. Following my Music degree from the University of Bristol, I gained my Masters in Music Therapy from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London in 2009.

Since then I’ve worked in NHS mental health services in London and in various educational and community settings with children and adults with autism and learning disabilities. As a mother of two, I’m also interested in working with parents and babies and believe it’s never too early to start introducing music to little ones. I specialise in using my singing voice to connect with people.

As well as my clinical work, I enjoy writing about my work, presenting at conferences and supervising other therapists and trainees. I was also a Trustee and Professional Development Officer for the British Association for Music Therapy between 2012 and 2018. I’m currently in the early stages of training to be a Parent-Infant Psychotherapist at the School of Infant Mental Health in London.

I take referrals for Music Therapy from individuals, families and organisations in the Neath and Swansea area. I am thrilled to now be able to offer 1:1 Music Therapy at Magnolia as well as Little by Little therapeutic music sessions for babies and toddlers.
